College Bound

Walker Memorial Baptist Church is one of the largest sites for College Bound, an organization that provides guidance to students in grades 8 to 12 in preparing to enter college. Once a week, students receive one-on-one mentoring from an adult who helps them with their school work and studies.  Mentors also help students to select and submit college applications. In addition, students are guided through the process of applying for financial aid and scholarships and given the tools to make reasonable decisions about entering and graduating from college.  If you are interested in becoming a mentor at College Bound's Walker Memorial site, please email us at info@walkerbaptistdc.org.
